About this area

You must be aged 5 or under to play here.
This is a special garden with giant pretend leaves and flowers, a baby oasis and upturned plant pot to explore!

Activities you can take part in

  • Use the touchscreen to draw a pattern on a butterfly's wings
  • Dress up as a mouse, ladybird, and other small creatures
  • Listen to lullabies from different countries
  • Play in our baby oasis

What will you see?

Sights: Low

You can expect to see

  • Giant pretend leaves and flowers
  • A touchscreen, where you paint a computer butterfly's wings, then make it fly up onto the wall
  • A giant birds nest
  • A giant plant pot on its side
  • A giant honeycomb

Sounds: Medium

You can expect to hear

  • General wildlife noises
  • Every few minutes, lullabies recorded in other countries are played through small speakers in the leaves of the giant flowers

  • Some of the giant flowers have their own special smells - look for the ones that say "smell me"

  • In the magpies' nest, there's a giant blue egg you can push to tilt
  • Foam jigsaw pieces in the large plant pot
  • Find the dressing up items to pretend to be small mammals, birds or insects
